Artist Textiles - AAGMs Collection

Artist Textiles: Picasso to Warhol is open now at Aberdeen Art Gallery! This captivating exhibition arrives in Aberdeen following an international tour. Tracing the history of 20th century art in textiles, explores how people were once able to engage with modern art in a personal and intimate way through their clothing and home furnishings.

There are around 130 items by 40 major artists, including garments, scarves, lengths of fabric, video and magazines. Half of these artists are represented in Aberdeen’s outstanding collection.
