10/01/1823:
The Fine Schooner FARMER, Chapman, of Aberdeen, with some stones and a cargo of grain sailed from Aberdeen to London, on the 28th November, and about five days afterwards proceeded from Holy Island, where the vessel had arrived in consequence of shifting cargo, and we regret to state has not since been heard of; so that there is too much reason to fear, the vessel with all on board have met a melancholy fate, probably in the calamitous storm of the 5th and 6th ult. Of the crew, six in number, five, we learn have left wives and families.
