Fate: Foundered off the Muglins, south of Dublin, after being struck on the port side in a collision with the S.S. GLENGARIFF, 29 August 1918.

1913: Shipping List gives owner as John Cow, Peterhead and Manager as Robert L. Mitchell, 18 Prince Street, Peterhead.
1916: Merchany Navy List gives same owner and same manager but his address as, Strathisla, Balmoor Terrace, Peterhead..
03/1915: Requisitioned by Admiralty, anti-submarine duties. Ad. No. 2567.
Armament 1 x 6 AA pdr. gun.

General History:
13/02/1907: Launched. Named by Miss Jessie Ann Cow, daughter of the skipper.
06/03/1907: Trials in Aberdeen Bay and left for Peterhead.
07/03/1907: Engine test run from Peterhead to Aberdeen scheduled.
29/08/1918: Foundered off the Muglins, south of Dublin, after being struck on the port side in a collision with the S.S. GLENGARIFF (City of Cork Steam Packet Co. Ltd.). One crew member lost. The Muglins are a group of rocks off Dalkey Island, just south of Dublin. Wreck located in 1990. The 6pdr. Hotchkiss gun was raised and is now on display at the National Maritime Museum, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. The wreck is now a dive site.

Propellor: Diameter 7' 1", solid cast iron.

£3,200 £9 extra for Sturrock’s patent bridges and bars. If acetylene gas is ordered, the price to be £18 additional. Final payment: March 1907.
