General History:
28/08/1911: Twin Launch with STRATHURIE. Named by Miss Craig, daughter of one of the owner’s directors.
13/09/1911: Twin trial trip with STRATHURIE
29/05/1914: Collided with the trawler WANDA (Richard Lewis & Sons) in Aberdeen harbour channel while entering port, causing damage to both vessels.
29/04 to 01/05/1916: Salvage of S.S. HJORTHOLM. Award made 09/01/1917 (29896)
30/10/1930: Collided with the trawler TERRIER opposite the Footdee War Memorial while both vessels were entering Aberdeen to land.
21/06/1937: Skipper Adam Sutherland of the STRATHTUMMEL caught illegal fishing in the Moray Firth and later fined.
28/06/1938: Rescued the crew of the Fraserburgh drifter MILL BURN which had sprung a leak and sunk.
23/03/1940: Rescued the crew of the mined trawler LOCH ASSATER off Kinnaird Head
14/11/1946: Towed into Aberdeen by the trawler STRATHDEVON, disabled by engine trouble.
02/1952: Left Aberdeen under tow for Bo’ness and demolition.
