29/10/1928: Launched at 1 p.m. Named by Mrs Greig. Sites give the 25th, but press report and launch book give the 29th.
14/11/1928: Trial trip at 10 a.m.
15/11/1928: Left at 4 p.m.
1933: Used by John Greirson for film “Granton Trawlers”
17/12/1939: Bombed and sunk by German aircraft.
Notes:
H. R. Order Book: - Similar to “Trinity N.B.” built in 1914, but electric light instead of acetylene gas.
Bunker capacity 100 tons of coal.
Engine details: Steam by screw, inverted, surface condensing, triple expansion engine, 12” x 20” x 34” with 23” stroke, 60 r.h.p. by H.R.
