General History:
17/10/1929: Launched at noon, in a twin launch with sister ship, yard no. 704, BEN ROSSAL. Named by Mrs J. D. Irvin.
14/11/1929: Trial trip.
14/11/1929: Left yard.
04/02/1931: Ashore on Beacon Point, Newbiggin in fog and snow.
Refloated without damage on the next tide.
27/12/1945: In collision with GEORGE W. HASTIE off Orkney.
08/1948: Towed disabled Norwegian cargo vessel DRYBORG to Lerwick.
03/06/1949: Sprang a leak in Fraserburgh Harbour. Pumped out without damage.
