General History:
STAR VI was a steam whale catcher, sister ship of STAR VII. STAR VI stayed with the company until 1965 when it was sold to Odd Grotle of Bergen and named CLUPEA until 1967 when it was converted from a steam whale catcher to motor fishing and renamed VESTFART. In 1994 it was renamed to VESTFART II.
Notes: 2 compound engines 14 9/10" and 34 1/4" cylinders, 32 1/2" stroke, by Hall, Russell.
Listed as active in 2003/2004 Lloyds Register, and in 2010, but owners not listed.
1967: 8 cylinder deisel engine fitted, 320x450 mm, 1100 bhp.
