General History:
REWARD was a sputnik class trawler built by John Lewis in Aberdeen and Montrose (Fairmile Berwick). They were called sputnik class as the Americans and Russians were launching sputnik craft into space in the 1960s.
Decommissioned under the Scottish Fleet Resilience Scheme in 2010.
