General History:
ANNWOOD was one of John Lewis' many built pocket trawlers in the 1970s for the local fleet. She was owned in 1990 ANNWOOD was sold by the Don Fishing Co. in 1998 to Sovereign Fishing Co. Ltd, Banff and adopted the name SOVEREIGN and fishing number BF380. SOVEREIGN ran aground at Cairnbulg Harbour entrance on 5 December 2005 and is still on the beach intact as of 2010. The wreck lying at Cairnbulg Beach was featured on poster and in the blockbuster film Life of Pi.
