About MeThis dress was designed and made by the donor who worked as a 'gown hand' at the couture house, House of Worth, London from 1958- 1968. Made from luxurious turquoise slub silk, the dress is fully hand-stitched; even the sequins were sewn on by hand. The Trapeze-line dress was pioneered by Yves Saint Laurent in his first collection for Dior in 1958. 1870-1899
