About MeMug produced to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII, also depicting Queen Alexandra. Mugs such as this were often given to school children as part of coronation celebrations. Lithographic transfer prints were produced to commemorative such events and sold to many pottery manufacturers. With no manufacturer's mark on the base it is not possible to identify the maker.
