About MeBrass gas light fitting in the form of an elephant standing on 2 hind legs, clothed in jacket and waistcoat, trousers and shoes, with a hollow trunk for the flame. The pipe is joined to the base to conduct the gas from its source into the fitting. It would then flow out from the trunk and remain lit all night (for cigars etc.). Formerly used in a public house.
