About MeMedals presented for acts of bravery and humanity. William Sutherland acted as "Rescue" at Aberdeen beach for seven years and saved in this time over 120 persons from drowning. In 1862 he saved two boys from drowning in the River Dee on the 29th June and another on the 8th July in the same year at Walker's Dam. Framed address presented by Bon Accord Swimming Club and Humane Society.
