About MeWaterloo was built in 1815 at Aberdeen hence the name it carried. It worked the East coast routes often carrying cargoes of coal from the Northumbrian and Durham coalfields north. This poster relates to the sale of the vessel a few years after it had been considerably lengthened in Nicol's yard at Aberdeen. Waterloo eventually was in the hands of an Inverness owner and sank off Berwick in 1858.
