About MeOn 4th November 1918, McBey drove from Hama to Aleppo. By this stage he had a car and driver and could move about with relative ease. On Wednesday 6th November he wrote, "Went out to Junction Station. Trouble crossing wadis. Sketched engine and points. Lunched with padre and supplies officer and home in dusk, but puncture."More About Me
James McBey drew this sketch from the back of a moving truck. The level of detail applied from such a fast-moving landscape is extraordinary.
