About MeThis patented fowling piece made in 1822 is a rare example of a 16-bore double-barrelled shotgun, designed to fire a number of pellets to shoot wildfowl. It was made by Forsyth & Company, the business which Alexander Forsyth established in 1806 to make high quality firearms. The signed locks are engraved with scrolls and game birds.
