About MeBox set containing two books - Hulls (1) and Hulls (2) - designed by Ian Hamilton Finlay and published by the Wild Hawthorn Press. The pages of Hulls (1) depict the names of ships followed a separate page for each of their hull colours. The pages of Hulls (2) depict only the names of the colours, e.g. "black/red/green". Printed and bound by Colin Sackett in an edition of 250.This work is part of an archive that belonged to Joyce Laing, OBE. The artist, Ian Hamilton Finlay, was a personal friend and sent her an example of each new poem, print and multiple as it was made.
