About MeBlack and white photograph depicting James McBey in a suit jacket and bow tie. The photograph has not come out very well and on the front around the border is a concessionary statement, probably from the photographer to McBey, which reads as follows: "You were right / but with my other camera / this would have been good." The photographer is identified on the reverse as "Muma Dunkle".

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this photograph.
