About MeThis basket was used by Bella Main from Downies just south of Aberdeen.
In it she carried fish for sale to as far away as Banchory covering the distance there and back on foot.
It is made from a variety of wicker and wood and twine. There is a length of rope attached which she was said to have used to attach the basket to her back for ease of carrying.
