About MeVacuum coffee maker with glass jug and vessel set within curved black plastic stand. The coiled heating element in the base is electric, with a detachable flex/cable.The glass jug has a detachable handle which grips the jug within metal jaws and has a curved black handle. The handle is removed by depressing a metal button on the underside of the handle. The jug is etched: "CONA" / (337117) / MODEL REX / BRITISH MADE.
The second glass vessel has a hollow stem underneath with long glass stopper and can be stored within the frame when not in use (when is placed over the jug). The vessel is etched: 'CONA' / REGD NO 337117 / MODEL REX / BRITISH MADE / GUARENTEED FLAME PROOF GLASS. The stopper has mould lines and is inscribed in relief: CONA / REGD TRADE MARK.
The stand itself is a C curve, forming a continuous shape with the handle of the jug when in place. There is a circular depression in the base underneath the rest for the upper vessel (presumably to catch drips) and the heating element is contained within a silver coloured metal hemisphere. The side has a small inscription: CONA. The underside of the base is inscribed: 'CONA' / (REGISTERED TRADEMARK) / BRITISH AND FOREIGN PATENTS / AND BRITISH AND FOREIGN / REGISTRATIONS APPLIED FOR / MODEL REX / BRITISH MADE. And is stamped: 250V / 350V.
The set has a spare stopper, with mould lines but unmarked.
