About MeLarge sheet of plain paper folded to a rectangular shape and inscribed in pencil "[?] Demy 24 hrs / 2.30 phi / Made 7th March 1894".

The inscription is said to have been written by Andrew Horner Snr, one time manager at Donside Paper Mill. Horner was born in Kincardine on Forth, Fife on 14 April 1864 and trained as a paper maker and worked in Kent. About 1893 he moved to the Donside Paper Mill in Aberdeen and lived in Woodside. He subsequently became foreman paper maker (about 1901) and was later promoted to mill manager. He retired in 1927.
