About MeThis invitation card was sent to Sheena Watson for the ceremony in 1981.Dumbarton Castle was one of a pair of Castle Class offshore patrol vehicles built for the R.N. in the 1980's in Aberdeen. Dumbarton Castle was to spend much of its time patrolling the waters around South Georgia and the Falklands. It was later sold to the Govt of Bangladesh in 2010. It was renamed Bijoy and was badly damaged in 2020 when in port in Beiruit when the major explosion took place.
