About MeTyped correspondence from Eneas Mackay to James McBey, dated 29 June 1912, and regarding supplies of McBey's etchings. Also, in the letter, Mackay refers to the death of David Young Cameron's father-in-law, and passes on a suggestion from Cameron to change the "slatey colour of [McBey's] ink to pure black", to improve the plates. Mackay himself suggests McBey could do a "Stirling set".

On the reverse is a draft response, handwritten, from McBey.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
