About MeTwo copies of a black and white portrait of James McBey in a three-quarter view, taken by Anthony Rigo de Righi. The lighting has been setup to cast a shadow of McBey's face on the wall behind.

The photographs were kept within a brown manila envelope and the negative is also included in a protective paper bag.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this photograph.
