About MeUndated article printed in an unknown newspaper, related to a sale of modern etchings at Southeby's. Several etchings were sold including James McBey's "Quai Gambetta, Boulogne" (see ABDAG002921) for £44 and "The Lion Brewery" (see ABDAG005472) for £101.

Two other sales of antiques and war medals are also mentioned.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper article.
