About MeTypewritten copy of an article originally printed in the Aberdeen Free Press on 19 January 1922, related to a memorial service for Dr. Kellas, chaired by Sir Francis Grant Ogilvie, at Aberdeen Grammar School. James McBey and Miss. Allgood, were artist guests in attendance, and McBey was coaxed into giving a short speech by the crowd.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper article.

There are no works to discover for this record.
