About MeHardback photograph album, with faux leather overlay, which belonged to James McBey. It contains over 470 images ranging from McBey's early adulthood working at the North of Scotland Bank and living in Aberdeen, through to his time as official war artist in Egypt from 26 May 1917, on to time spent sailing on his trips to various locations in Europe.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this photograph album.
