About MeBlack and white photograph of a sketch drawn by James McBey depicting a family scene. The figures in this scene are the same as "Bedlam" (see ABDAG000686.337), so the woman in the middle is Molly Murray, and the man crouching down, second from the left, is James McBey.The photograph is kept within a hardback photograph album, with faux leather overlay, which belonged to McBey.
This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this photograph.
