About MeLetter from James McBey to friend and art collector H. H. Kynett, dated 27 January 1955, in which McBey responds to questions from Kynett in two previous letters. These relate to Phil Mallory's positive response to the Cutty Sark sketch; the St. Andrew's Society wanting a copy of Kynett's book; Kynett's new home; McBey's "Thames Watercolours"; a potential drawing of "The Bad Penny"; McBey's reading of "Great Grandmother Gilruth's Diary"; and studies he had been working on of Mary.

The letter consists of three sheets typewritten.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
