About MeSketch drawn by James McBey shortly after he and Marguerite purchased Dar Ben Zina, Marrakesh in December 1936. The sketch depicts a diagram of a pipe from differing angles. Also included is a note for the mason related to some of the plumbing requirements for Dar Ben Zina. It is kept within a sketchbook, along with a series of other related drawings.This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this sketch.
