About MeErection of bridge over the River Narva in Estonia for the Krehnholm Manufactory. The bridge was a 260 feet span by 6 feet wide. It was designed by Louise Harper and erected in 7 weeks and completed on 16th July, 1908. This is a unique set of photographs depicting the stages of bridge erection.
Krenholm was one of the largest textile mills in Europe, founded by I.Knop and designed on an integrated principle of social and aesthetic organisation (and the site of significant strike in 1872).
