About MeFormal, signed copy of the address to Queen Victoria by Alexander Nicol, Lord Provost of Aberdeen and Chairman of the commissioners under the Aberdeen Police and Water Works, 1862; with the signed reply of Queen Victoria.

The address states "...the Works now constructed will convey to the City the third supply of water which has become necessary during the present century. In 1806 the daily supply was 60,000 Gallons, since increased to One Million; and the Citizens will long delight to connect Your Majesty with the supply of Six Millions of Gallons of water from the Dee ... carrying increased health and comfort to all, and especially the poorer classes."
