About MeThis decorated half hull model is of an Aberdeen-built trawler, “Eveline Nutten”, built by Hall Russell in 1915 and owned by Aberdeen-based Horace Edward Nutten. “Eveline Nutten” was requisitioned for service as a mine sweeper during World war One, returned to Nutten afterwards, survived an attack by German aircraft in December 1939 and was scrapped in 1956. It was also the trawler that discovered the elephant tusks (ABDMS012368.1 and ABDMS012368.2) off Shetland and now on display in the Maritime Museum.
