About MePaper fan with long woodend sticks. The fan depicts the eagle of The U.S.A and the stars and stripes flag, the reverse shows a landscape and building with the words 'Independence Hall, Philadelphia, 1876' either side of the building. It is fitted with a brass finger ring. the words 'patented 1876' are stamped into one of the wooden sticks which can be seen when the fan is folded up.
