About MeRichard Batterham worked with Bernard Leach at the Leach Pottery in St Ives in Cornwall.

He established his own pottery in Dorset in 1959 and made domestic stoneware like this jug.

The handle of this jug is well proportioned and fits perfectly in the hand.
