About MeIsabella Park, a milliner who lived and worked in Aberdeen, worked as a delivery girl for Bertha Pickford, a milliner who worked on Union Street. Pickford encouraged her to study hat-making, and Isabella worked for her for many years. Pickford eventually closed down her business in Aberdeen so she could get married and live in London, but not before leaving Isabella with a letter of recommendation so she could continue her traineeship.
