About MeCarte de visite of an older woman seated in a plush chair, her left arm in resting on a table with a patterned table cloth. Her hair is up in a middle parting underneath a decorated bonnet with long flowing ribbon down the sides. She is wearing a ring on her left hand suggesting that she is married as well as a brooch on her collar and a long necklace/ chain. Her dress has puffy sleeves and white cuffs. On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full.
