About MePair of blue wooden dumbbells used in exercises with the Girls' Guildry.

These dumbbells were used by a member of the Daffodil Club, part of the Girls' Guildry of Scotland, at the church on Victoria Road in Torry during the 1950s. She remembers doing lots of arm exercises and marching. When the family moved to Kincorth, it took two buses to attend and eventually the family changed to Ferryhill Church and joined the Brownies.
