About MeBar of Ogston & Tennant’s Kilty Soap, wrapped in paper and inside original red-check cardboard box.Unused bar of red soap with moulded branding. One side reads "CARBOLATED // KILTY SOAP // BATH & TOILET" and the other side reads "OGSTON & TENNANT LTD. // ESTD. OVER 100 YEARS // RENFREW & ABERDEEN".
The paper wrap is opaque and printed with three rectangles in red ink. The first is titled "FRAGRANT & ANTISEPTIC" with a description of the soap's qualities and benefits. The second/middle reads "KILTY // CARBOLATED // SOAP // AMDE BY // OGSTON & TENNANT LTD // RENFREW & ABERDEEN" and the third has two images of bagpipe players either side of the TO trademark and underneath reads "OGSTON & TENNANT LTD. // RENFREW & ABERDEEN. // Established over 200 years."
The box is printed all over with a red and black check with yellow and white details or text. The various aspects repeat the product and manufacturer's names, as well as referring to it as "KILTY HEALTH SOAP" which "Clears the Complexion". One side has a yellow rectangle with broken outline bearing the image of a bagpipe player and reading "PRIZE SCHEME // CUT OUT THIS PANEL // WHICH IS EQUAL TO // HALF COUPON."
