About MeLis Bos is a non-binary analogue photographer. Lise moved from the Netherlands to Aberdeen seven years ago. After studying archaeology, they now work in museums. Lise has ADHD and describe their associated characteristics, specifically creativity and a determination to be ambition, as having been both a blessing and a curse to their micro-commission project.
When lockdown started, Lise was suddenly alone and started to wonder what, beyond the people, did Aberdeen mean to them. Hame is the end result of Lise’s reflections. The three books make sense of Aberdeen through archaeological interrogation, maps and journeys, and photographic portraiture.
