About MeScott’s practice examines queer identity, performativity and imagery where digital technologies are now an everyday part of identity creation. He responds to historical, and current, queer (in)visibility by subverting our understandings of familiar social allegories to create altered contexts for queer realities and agency to exist. The work often depicts multiple temporalities of bodies in action, bodies in transition and the evanescent experiences of touch.
