About MeSidney Tustin was recruited aged 13 years in the summer of 1927 by Michael Cardew to work at Winchcombe Pottery. He worked there for fifty-one years and made over a million pots before he retired in 1978.This jug has a bulbous body and a thin neck.
The lower section has a dark brown glaze.
The upper section is decorated with a dark brown slip-trailed wavy line and dots over a white slip.
The handle is decorated with dark brown slip-trailed dots.
