About MeThe yunomi is a type of Japanese teacup for daily tea drinking. A yunomi does not have a handle and is designed to be cradled in both hands.
This yunomi is decorated with an orange shino glaze. The potter has used their finger to create the dark red wavy lines.
Shino glaze is composed primarily of feldspar which is a rock-forming mineral consisting of aluminosilicates of potassium, sodium, and calcium.
