Obverse: Forward facing crowned head with broad, curling hair framed with text inscription.
Reverse: Centrally placed long cross with three pellets in each corner and text ringing the outer edge.
Manufacture Method: Hammered
Condition: The coin is in OK condition and is a forgery of the EDWRE type. It was based on earlier trifoliate Edward I pennies. The reverse has clear central details and legible text, despite scraping wear. The obverse has a well smoothed king portrait and legible text.
