Obverse: Forward facing crowned head with broad, curling hair framed with text inscription.
Reverse: Centrally placed long cross with three pellets in each corner and text ringing the outer edge.
Manufacture Method: Hammered
Condition: The coin is in very poor condition and is a forgery of the EDWRE type. It was based on earlier trifoliate Edward I pennies. The reverse has worn but still visible central details and mostly legible text, despite heavy wear. The obverse has a very worn king portrait and mostly illegible text, due to heavy wear and loss from clipping. The obverse also has an indent from the cross on the reverse side.
