Obverse: Forward facing crowned head with broad, curling hair framed with text inscription.
Reverse: Centrally placed long cross with three pellets in each corner and text ringing the outer edge.
Manufacture Method: Hammered
Condition: The coin is in good condition, but has been clipped. It is a forgery of the Edwarra type, contemporaneous with legitimate Edward I or II sterling pennies Class 10. The reverse has clear central details and legible text where it has not been lost to clipping. The obverse has a well worn king portrait and legible text, bar some loss to wear and clipping. The obverse also has a faint indent from the cross on the reverse side.
