About MeThis was the Royal Air Force's general purpose communications and direction-finding receiver. This type of receiver was used in bomber aircraft, especially during World War 2. Different versions varied in their waveband coverage; this one covers the usual short, medium and longwave bands and also has an ultra low frequency band used for navigation signals. This set was manufactured by E.K.Cole Ltd, probably in 1942.
