About MeA simple pattern in pink over the face of the voucher is interrupted by the large letters WD with an arrow between them. The value (25 6d) is printed in black at the bottom right. The voucher is overstamped with the name of the P.O.W. camp which issued it, in this case Stuartfield, Aberdeenshire. On the reverse of the voucher is a group of black circles, one of which was date-stamped each time it was used.Vouchers of this type were issued by the War Department during World War II for use by internees in prisoner-of-war camps.
