About MeBlack and ivory horizontal striped Courtelle dress in the princess-line style with a rolled collar, long set-in sleeves with deep cuffs. There is also a false front opening down the left side with six black shiny buttons and a black ribbon bow.

Fashion in the 1960s was significantly influenced by developments in the art and music world. Op-Art, such as the paintings by Bridget Riley, inspired designers to create clothes with optical patterns in black and white. The dress has been knitted from Courtelle, an acrylic fibre that resembles wool.
