About MeOn his second visit to the United States of America McBey sketched this scene in suburban Philadelphia, at White Horse cross roads. He captures most expertly the quiet scene - a pair of foxhunters riding between the whitewashed houses of the area. Using his typically economic line, James McBey fills in the scene with delicate washes, recreating most effectively the weak winter light.
